Last Thursday we went to the beautiful Melbournian suburb of Heidelberg for some volunteering. We helped “Seven Women”, which is a non-profit organization supporting disabled women in Nepal. This volunteering is especially important at the moment after the big recent earthquake.
We worked at a pretty house to pack, tag and sort beautiful handmade products, which are used for fundraising. Our hosts were Nora, Catherine and Louise, and what amazed us was their passion and dedication to helping people in Nepal, and how much their work is helping change the lives and communities of these women.
We were very happy to participate in this very social labour and look forward to telling more people about this organization so that they can help spread the word about this important work.
