General English Excursion to the Magistrates Court

This week Ability Melbourne students got to visit the Magistrates Court and witness the legal process in action. This is what some of the students had to say:

“we saw a man who was given a fine of $900 for talking on the phoen when he was driving his car!”

“it was interesting seeing the defendants getting angry and shouting at each other”

“the most exciting part for me was the doctor talking about a murder”

“we heard the language that we were learning in the week in real life”

“it was just like the movies!”
