Excursion to the Immigration Museum! – Melbourne

Our excursion to the Immigration Museum taught us about the different immigrants who have come to Australia, some of the reasons why they left their own cultures, and the most interesting part were their stories about their journey here and how they adapted to living in Victoria.

We also loved seeing photos about people who had come from our countries.

At the moment there is a special exhibition about a traditional Japanese festival called ‘Wish Day’. One of our Japanese students, Midori, was able to tell us about this festival that happens on the 7th of July, and here is a photo of us writing down our wish and hanging it on the wishing tree.
